Chant's IT Solutions started in 1997 in Sydney, Nova Scotia — fixing computers for businesses that needed reliable help on the island, not a national MSP with a phone tree, not a fly-by-night operation, just people local to Cape Breton who answered when you called and showed up when you needed them.
That hasn't changed — the operation has just grown into it. Today we manage IT for over 160 businesses across Cape Breton — insurance offices, construction companies, restaurants, golf clubs, car dealers, hotels, retailers, government departments, and First Nations governments. We also service ATMs, run a phishing-simulation and security-assessment practice, do equipment inspections for insurance adjusters, and built a paid-WiFi platform (Camp Connect Pro) for campgrounds.
All of it delivered by a team based right here in Sydney, working from the same Charlotte Street office we've been in for years. Not a virtual team, not a rented mailbox — an actual local operation with actual local people you can meet.
